Nelya Babynets is a Ph. D. student at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, Mexico where she also teaches undergraduate courses in English literature. Her research interests focus on Renaissance literature and cultural studies, with specific emphasis on Elizabethan and Jacobean theatre. She is currently writing her thesis on representation of corpse in revenge tragedies. Nelya contributed a chapter to the ebook Transgressive Womanhood (2014) and is the author of the book Bajo el signo de la muerte: la cultura visual del Renacimiento (2015).
