Daniel Barnett has taught film theory and film practice at The State University of New York, Binghamton; Massachusetts College of Art; University of Massachusetts, Boston; The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and The San Francisco Art Institute. His films have been shown at and collected by museums,universities and public venues worldwide. He has been Executive Producer at bePictures Inc., San Rafael, CA, USA and is the author of a book on the relationship between verbal, pictorial and musical languages, “Movement as Meaning in Experimental Film”, number thirteen in the Rodopi series Consciousness, Literature and the Arts. His most recent film, An Anagram, is an essay on the collapse of  Communism in the Soviet Union, filmed in 1991.
