Natasha Conde studied Theatre and Philosophy at the University of King’s College in Canada. Her academic interest lies mainly in the connection between Western philosophers’ notions of consciousness and the presence of consciousness, in its varying states, in theatre. She has an extensive background in acting and has done work on stage as well as on film. Her most recent roles have been with the Canadian theatre company Right Pro Productions. In 2005, she played the lead role in Right Pro’s winning play at the Atlantic Fringe Festival. She is currently doing her Master’s in Practicing Performance at the University of Wales Aberystwyth and has aspirations to continue her studies at the PhD level.
