Attilio Favorini is Founding Chair of the Department of Theatre Arts at the University of Pittsburgh. He is the author of VOICES: TEN PLAYS FROM THE DOCUMENTARY THEATER (Ecco Press), as well as six plays. He is currently at work on THE SCENE IS MEMORY, a book about how playwrights construct memory.
