Suzanne LaLonde is an Associate Professor of French at the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley where she teaches French, Spanish, and courses in Medical Humanities, most notably “World Literature and Global Health” and “Narratives of Illness and Reflective Writing”. Her research on contemporary French and World Literatures takes both a psychoanalytic and trauma theory perspective and includes recent articles on J.M.G Le Clézio’s and Haruki Murakami’s literature.
