Matt Lee is a PhD research student in philosophy at Sussex University, working on a thesis about the showing/saying distinction in Wittgenstein’s Tractatus by using the work of Gilles Deleuze as a critical tool.  Nominally about issues of aporia and tautology, the true fascination of the thesis is with the role of affects in thought.  He is due to complete later this year when he intends to begin work on a project on schizophrenia and autobiography.  He is also a film-maker with the artists Indifference Productions.
