David Pendery is an American living in Taipei, Taiwan. He is married to a Taiwanese woman, with no children. Mr. Pendery received his B.A. degree in International Relations from San Francisco State University, and his M.S. in Journalism from Boston University. Currently he is a Ph.D. student in the Department of English Literature at National Chengchi University in Taipei. His research focus is philosophy of history and narrative. In his free time, Mr. Pendery's hobbies are tennis and sports, music and fine arts, and his pet cat, Loudmouth.
