V. PremLata  is Associate Professor in the Department of English Studies, Dayalbagh Educational Institute (Deemed University) Agra, India. Her research interests include   literary theory, linguistics, Modern Poetry, Systems theory and consciousness studies. She is currently working on shifts of consciousness and   Synesthesia from phenomenological and literary perspectives.  She has guided a number of   M.Phil.and  Ph.D. dissertations on a wide variety of topics covering  Eastern and Western aesthetics. Some  recent significant  Ph.D. Thesis titles include  “Reader -Response Theory and the Concept  of  Sahrdya: A Study of Stanley  Fish and  Anandvardhana”,  “ A Study of High End Complexity and  Emergentism in Complex Literary Systems”. Her papers have been published in national and international journals , she has presented papers and delivered invited talks and presented papers at national and international conferences. She is the editor of Literary Paritantra (Systems): An International Journal on Literature and Theory, Editor of Flights of Imagination: A Magazine of Creative Writing. She is a core committee member of the Centre for Consciousness Studies, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, India, life member of Systems Society of India, and  member of Poetry Society of India.
