Sinem Bezircilioğlu teaches academic reading and writing skills in freshman and junior classes at İzmir Institute of Technology. She is the coordinator of the Academic Writing Center at the same university. Her doctoral thesis is on the stream of consciousness technique in Virginia Woolf’s three novels and the teaching of this technique considering its linguistic features. Publications include, The rhythm in the corridors of Virginia Woolf's mind (2009), The semantic categories in teaching “If Clauses” in ESL classes (2011).
