Susan Thompson has performed, written and taught in Latin America, Europe and the US.  She studied with Jacques Lecoq at his school in Paris and is currently Ph.D.(ABD) at Tufts (Medford, Ma.) working on her dissertation, "Lecoq and the Actor/Creator: Ensembles in the Americas."  Ms. Thompson has been a core artist with the New England company Pilgrim Theatre since 1990 and recently performed as Dr. Faust in "Faust 2002" in the Malta Festival in Poznan, Poland. Her original plays include Missing Persons, Panic, and two collaborations, The Wild Place and Anam Cara. She toured for five years with the Mexico-based company Theater Frederik and was in downtown Mexico City the day of the earthquake, September 19, 1985.
