Inspire

The light dances, playing tricks with my eyes 
Shadows on the wall blend, becoming one 
Feel the rhythm of an underlying beat 
Bodies become colors become shadows 
Falling, falling, falling...to the unknown 

Colors blend and merge then separate 
Spiraling deeper, deeper, deeper... 
Into the bliss of oblivion 
Make, break, and lose yourself 
Then turn around and do it all again 

Darkness descends, swallows, overwhelms 
The waves crash, breaking on the shoals of my being 
A rising tide, I close my eyes 
Explosions of light, feeling, sound 
Confound, complete, consume me...
