Call for Submissions
The editors are inviting submissions relevant to the topic of consciousness and the arts and literature in all fields suggested under Aims and Scope, i.e.
traditional scholarly article
creative writing, in any genre
creative arts, in any genre
discussion and debate
critical and/or creative comments on previous contribution
Please send enquiries and finished material, no longer than 10,000 words excluding bibliography, to the Editor, Professor Daniel Meyer-Dinkgräfe via email attachment.
All submissions undergo double-blind peer review. On receipt of a MS, the editor selects suitable peer reviewers from the members of the editorial board or other relevant subject specialists and passes the submission for peer review. Reviewers consider submissions against the criteria of fit within the remit of the journal, relevance, academic rigour, originality, and significance. Typically, peer reviews come in within 1-2 months of submission. Authors are invited to attend to revisions of their work if recommended by the peer review, and, depending on the extent of revisions recommended, the editor decides on publication of revised submission, or seeks the input of the original peer reviewer. Once a submission has been accepted (immediately following peer review or after suitable revision, the submission is scheduled for publication in the next available or suitable issue. There are no deadlines at any stage in this process.
There are no article processing charges, or article submission charges.
Copyright of published articles, book reviews and creative writing remains with the authors, who are expected to acknowledge publication in Consciousness, Literature and the Arts if they re-publish (revisions of) the material published here.
